Quadra Sailing processes your personal data on our website because you use our website and any forms and/or because you provide them to us yourself. Below you will find an overview of the personal data that we process via our website:

Special and/or sensitive personal data that we process
Our website does not intend to collect special or sensitive data about website visitors.
This includes gender, personal numbers or bank details.
Our website also does not intend to collect data about website visitors who are younger than 16 years of age. Unless they have permission from parents or guardians. However, we cannot check whether a visitor is older than 16. We therefore recommend that parents be involved in their children’s online activities to prevent data about children from being collected without parental consent. If you are convinced that we have collected personal information about a minor without this consent, please contact us at mail.quadrasailing.com and we will delete this information.

For what purpose and on what basis do we process personal data?
Quadra Sailing processes your personal data that you voluntarily provide to us via the website in order to contact you and answer your questions or start a collaboration with you.

Automated decision making
Quadra Sailing never makes decisions based on automated processing via the website on matters that could have (significant) consequences for people.

How long we keep personal data

Quadra Sailing does not store your personal data for longer than is strictly necessary to achieve the purposes for which your data is collected.

We keep the name and email address provided via the website as long as the correspondence with you continues. When the correspondence is ended and no business agreement has been concluded with you, your name and email address will be deleted from our systems within four weeks.

We store Google Analytics data for 26 months before it is automatically deleted: at the end of the retention period, data is automatically deleted monthly.

Sharing personal data with third parties
In principle, Quadra Sailing never provides personal data to third parties and, if this happens, only if this is necessary for the execution of our agreement with you or to comply with a legal obligation.

View, adjust or delete data
You have the right to view, correct or delete your personal data. In addition, you have the right to withdraw your consent to the data processing or to object to the processing of your personal data by Quadra Sailingen, and you have the right to data portability.
This means that you can submit a request to us to send the personal data we have about you in a computer file to you or another organization mentioned by you. You can send a request for access, correction, deletion, data transfer of your personal data or request for withdrawal of your consent or objection to the processing of your personal data to mail@quadrasailing.com
To ensure that the request for access has been made by you, we ask you to enclose a copy of your proof of identity with the request. Make your passport photo, MRZ (machine readable zone, the strip with numbers at the bottom of the passport), passport number and Citizen Service Number (BSN) black in this copy. This is to protect your privacy.
We will respond to your request as quickly as possible, but within four weeks.

How we protect personal data
Quadra Sailing takes the protection of your data seriously and takes appropriate measures to prevent misuse, loss, unauthorized access, unwanted disclosure and unauthorized modification.

• TLS (formerly SSL) We send your data via a secure internet connection. You can see this in the address bar ‘https’ and the padlock in the address bar;

Use of Social Media links
On our website we use a referral to our own Social Media channels.
We also load messages from our own business Linkedin page.

Use of photos of people on our website
We may use photos on our website in which people may be recognizable. These photos come from our own archive or we have received them from suppliers or customers with permission to use them. Where possible we have contacted these people to ask them for permission to use these photos.
If you are in one of this photos and you believe that you have not given permission or if you would like to withdraw this permission, please contact info@otteninfra.nl so that we can remove the photo as quickly as possible.
